Copulsky began work as the firm’s Director of Investments. Steven is Prima’s head trader and is the
portfolio manager for a
large public pension fund separate account.
Mr. Copulsky is responsible
for loan origination, underwriting, and structuring.
to joining Schroder, Mr. Copulsky ran real estate financing and investment
advisory activities for Swiss Bank Corporation's subsidiary, BSI-Banca della
Svizzera Italiana. Prior to BSI, he was
a member of the real estate division at Chemical Bank with responsibilities in
several of the real estate lending and investment banking areas. Mr. Copulsky has been involved in the financing of
billion of real estate projects, including virtually all types of commercial
and multi-family real estate. Prior to
Chemical Bank, for three years, he was at Citibank in its real estate division.
Mr. Copulsky earned a B.A. degree
from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting
from Columbia University. He is a former
Adjunct Professor of Real Estate at New York University’s School of Continuing
Education, a member of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Counsel (CREFC). He is a member of the Capital Markets
Affinity Group of the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA).
