Investment Criteria

Gregory A. White is a Managing Director and the Chief Executive Officer of Prima Capital Advisors LLC, which he founded in 2002.  Before Prima, Mr. White was a Senior Vice President at Conning Asset Management Company, which had bought investment management agreements from Schroder Mortgage Associates, LP, where Mr. White had worked since 1992.  Prima acquired the Schroder business from Conning and has expanded it to its current size, of $4 billion AUM.  Before Schroder, Mr. White was Managing Director and co-head of the real estate finance, sales, and advisory businesses of Salomon Brothers.  While at Salomon, Mr. White originated, negotiated and closed in excess of $10 billion of real estate financings, joint ventures and property sales, and created the first securitized commercial mortgage and helped develop the rating process for commercial mortgages.  He began his career in real estate finance in the Real Estate Finance Department of the Chase Manhattan Bank. 

Mr. White has served as a Director of New Plan Excel Realty Trust and Acadia Realty Trust, two leading NYSE-listed REIT’s specializing in retail real estate.  He is an active member in PREA (Pension Real Estate Association) and CREFC (Commercial Real Estate Finance Council), and serves on the Board of Advisors of Tufts University’s College of Engineering as well as the University’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Program.  Mr. White has taught Real Estate Finance at New York University.  He has an M.B.A. in Finance and Real Estate from The Wharton Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Tufts University.
